"A little slice of Venice" is what comes into mind when you visit Piran, a coastal town on Slovenia's short coastline.
It is fun to stroll through the narrow medieval streets and to eat freshly caught sea food in one of the many rustic restaurants afterwards.
Located at the northern end of the Adriatic Sea, it is only a 3-hour drive from Graz and it's well worth investing some time to visit this delightful town.
